Deep Rebate and Box Frames

We specialise in deep rebate and box frames to display sports and music memorabilia, or any other 3D object.  If you've got any ideas give us a call and we'll see if it's possible.  We enjoy new challenges and pushing the boundries of framing possibilities.

When framing shirts we use use deep rebate frames, of which we have a choice of 7 different designs.  We use foamboard inserts which go inside the shirt, this not only keeps the material taught and crease free, but gives the shirt more depth and the appearance that it's floating.  This is far more interesting to look at than shirts simply fastened straight to a mountboard.  By using foamboard inserts also reduces the amount of fastening required.

We use microstitch technology to fasten the shirts to the foambard and mountboard. These are small plastic tags which pose no long term threat to the item, unlike tape or pins.  We take every possible effort to conceal all the microstitch tags behind collars, seems or hems.  Where possible we try to avoid using tapestry tape as we appreciate these items can cost several hundreds of pounds not to mention their sentimental value.  For this reason we believe it is important to maintain the originality of the item and although we hope you would never want to, or need to remove it from the frame, you could do so without causing any damage to the shirt.

Shirt framing costs start at £70

The frames above cost £80 this includes the price of the engraved plaque.

There are many options, including mounting photo's or medals with the shirt, having  a window mount, how much of the shirt is diplayed. All of these factors will alter the price as each frame is totally unique and built to your requirements.
